Newsletter 3 out!
Marhaba has just released Newsletter #3 detailing the achievements made in the first term of the year. You can download the newsletter (in PDF format) from the Newsletters page here.
An important new change that was highlighted in the newsletter was:
- Starting Term 2, the Tuesday Playgroup has now moved to every Friday of
the week. Many of Marhaba's parents that used to attend on Tuesday
brought to our attention that English playgroups (mandatory for
pre-school kids) are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of every
week; meaning that several of the kids missing out on attendance.
Marhaba has listened to valuable feedback and moved the playgroup sessions to every Friday 11:30am to 2:30pm. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I think everyone is happy now as the day change and it will encourage a higher number of children enrolling Inshallah in the near future.

Dear Marhaba,
Its my first time visiting the website and I thing it is very cool , I like the pictures alot , some of them are soooo cute!!!! , I am 8 years old this year 2007.

I thank all those who sponsored play group Marhaba and made it possible for our children to learn Arabic . I must say that as a mother it made a big difference in my life too as it helped me socialise with people from the same cultural background. We need to mingle and become part and parcel of the New Zealand community but at the same time keep in touch with our roots. It is just like when the Italians and Greeks immigrate to foreign countries: generation after generation they keep their language and food and Itailian identity.
