Marhaba evolving to Web 2.0

After recieving a lot of great and enthusiastic feedback from Marhaba's community, it was decided that more development in the Marhaba website should be made to further enrich the surfing experience of the site by Marhaba's users and community.

Over the next couple of months a number of gradual changes will be made to the website to make it more interactive - to make it Web 2.0! For those unfamiliar with the new coined frame - Web 2.0 - it is simply a new buzz word used around to percieve second-generation of websites that facilitate collaboration and sharing of information between users.

The following are the two latest Web 2.0 updates that Marhaba has undergone:

Comments Posting

The Marhaba website now supports user posted comments! Underneath any of our news posts is a "Leave a Reply" section (see bottom of this page). Users of Marhaba can quickly drop any thoughts or comments they have to what they just read and share it with all of Marhaba's community! This behaviour can encourage more collaboration between the community and stimulate news ideas and innovation.

RSS Fees

RSS is a three letter acronym that stands for something like "Really Simple Syndication". RSS distributes recently updated information to many receivers, much like a broadcast system to draw users to look at updates (see the orange RSS button on Marhaba's footer).

So err... how do I use it? Well now that you know of Marhaba's website, chances are you will not come back to often to read updates. This is where RSS comes in -without going back to our website, you will immediately be alerted when an update or addition of content has taken place allowing you to save time and ensure that you won't miss anything either!

Simply subscribe to Marhaba's RSS syndication feeds (using something like Internet Explorer 7, Google Reader or Mozilla Firefox) and stay tuned!
